About the Event
Eighty years ago, one of the most devastating conflicts in world history, World War II, came to a close. The sacrifices were immense, and nearly every Southampton family was affected by this monumental conflict. This exhibition shares the history of World War II through the personal stories of the men and women from our local community who played a role in this historic war.
The Southampton History Museum is especially grateful to the Village of Southampton, the Village Commission on Veterans Patriotic Events (aka Combined Veterans Organization), and the Southampton Cultural Center for making this pop-up exhibition at historic Veterans Memorial Hall possible during the restoration of Rogers Mansion.
This Works War II exhibition will be open from May through December of 2025.
