Shopping, dining, & more
in historic Southampton
Visitors are invited to explore Southampton History Museum's gift shop at Rogers Mansion, a nearly 375-year-old structure restored to the glamorous Gilded Age period. We offer expertly curated books, decorative objects, and souvenirs reflecting Southampton's distinctive culture and history.
Looking for something extra special? Stop by Southampton History Museum’s Pelletreau Silver Shop (built 1686), located on Main Street just a short walk from Rogers Mansion—it’s open year round and admission is free! You’ll find a selection of one-of-a-kind, hand-made pieces of jewelry crafted by our talented artist-in-residence, Alyssa Saccente of Gatta Zaffira Fine Jewelry. How about booking a one-on-one jewelry-making lesson with Alyssa at the shop? You'll learn how to make your own sterling silver jewelry in the very same space where Elias Pelletreau (1726–1810), Southampton's celebrated Patriot silversmith, practiced his craft—a truly special experience that also makes a great gift!
Love to go antiquing or vintage shopping? Don't miss Southampton History Museum's Thrift Shop this summer! Located in the restored Nugent Carriage House (ca. 1890s), adjacent to Rogers Mansion, our Thrift Shop is open Saturdays from June through September. The shop is filled with paintings, prints, antiques, and all things vintage, from jewelry to dishes, books, LPs, postcards, and more!
Additionally, three of our four museum sites are located in the heart of Southampton Village’s historic downtown—an acclaimed destination for arts and culture as well as exceptional shopping and dining experiences. There is so much to enjoy just a short walk away!
